Laco Edition 95 - Limited marine watch for the company's 100th anniversary
In five years, the Pforzheim watch manufacturer Laco will celebrate its 100th anniversary. It's high time to release the first model in an exclusive series of annual editions this year. The total of five watches are the selected companions for a very special journey: the Mission 2025.
With the “Edition 95”, Laco presents the first member of the special series and thus sets a first milestone in 100 years of eventful company history. The watch is manufactured in a strictly limited edition of only 95 pieces.
Laco has been producing robust marine timepieces since the 1940s. On the high seas, the challenges for people and material are equally high. The watches must meet special requirements. With the new, authentic marine watch with a contemporary look, Laco underlines its traditional expertise in the field of nautical timepieces. The “Edition 95” combines maritime charm with the brand’s typical demands on precision, durability and functionality.
Inspired by the nautical virtues are the water resistance up to 100 meters, the 42.5 millimeter stainless steel case with knurled sides and the dark blue, large dial with fine grain. For intuitive readability, the Arabic numerals and hands on them are covered with intense blue luminescent Superluminova. With the built-in caliber 98, a hand-wound movement like the historical predecessor models, the “Edition 95” is always on precise course. The mechanical movement is based on the tried and tested caliber ETA 6498.1. The striking decorations are perfectly accentuated by the sapphire crystal in the screw-back case on the back.
With its successful mix of functionality and sporty elegance, the “Edition 95” is a reliable and stylish companion in every situation - because, although made for use on the high seas, it also cuts a fine figure on land as an elegant business watch .
The complete 24-hour package is completed by a color-matching case, a certificate of authenticity and a limited-edition pin that is available exclusively with the watch.
The special model, limited to just 95 pieces, will be available from Laco and authorized retailers from the end of 2020 at a price of €1,290.
